This is a beta release. It is considered stable but is still undergoing testing and may contain bugs.
v2.3.1-beta (Windows | Mac | macOS Catalina | Linux) changes:
- Fixed sessions where setlists and songs could fail to appear because their stored references were inconsistent.
- Reduced flicker when reordering songs or moving them between setlists.
- Fixed mixer output level controls that could become out of sync when a level changed elsewhere.
v2.3.0-beta (Windows | Mac | macOS Catalina | Linux) changes:
- Updated Electron from v6 to v43.2 and strengthened app security for improved compatibility with current operating systems.
- Added a Universal macOS build for Intel and Apple silicon Macs.
- Fixed font rendering issues on Windows and improved bundled font compatibility on Linux.
- Increased the Song Level Adjust range from ±5 to ±20.
- Added a free-space check before export and fixed disk-space checks that could block exports on Windows 11.
- Fixed cancelling an export so it now stops copying files, with clearer progress and error messages.
- Improved how audio files are written to SD cards to reduce fragmentation and improve playback reliability.
- Added a warning when a session uses features that require P-1 firmware v3.26 or later.
- Improved P-1 imports to preserve the song order stored on the device and safely handle damaged or incomplete setlists.
- Improved WAV and MIDI missing-file detection and relinking, including faster automatic searches, reused-file recovery, accurate counts and clearer guidance for disconnected SD cards or external drives.
- Fixed re-exporting imported sessions, including renamed setlists, existing 'lists' folders and WAVs used on multiple mixer channels.
- Duplicate-name export errors now identify the setlist containing each affected song.
- Improved performance and preserved the scroll position when working with large setlists.
- Setlists now display alphabetically, and single or empty setlists remain expanded.
- Improved Quick Routing for stereo-linked output pairs and fixed incorrect channel and routing displays.
- Fixed save-state handling so saved or exported sessions no longer incorrectly appear modified.
- Save As now updates the recent sessions list, and file dialogs remember their last-used folders.
- Clicking the saved session name now reveals its .idoru file in Finder or File Explorer.
- Added Create Setlist and Scan for Missing Files commands to the File menu, with keyboard shortcuts.
- Pressing Enter while renaming now moves to the next song or setlist name.
- Delete confirmations now select Cancel by default.
- Temporarily removed the 'Collect all and save as…' option.
v2.2.17 ( Windows) changes:
- Fix diskspace check blocking on Win 11.
v2.2.16 ( Windows | Mac | Linux) changes:
- Fixed font rendering issues on Windows.
- Improved bundled font compatibility on Linux.
- Increased session limits to 10 setlists per session and 100 songs per setlist.
- Added 'Stop' as an end-of-song option.
- Added warning if there is not enough free space to export the session.
- Duplicated songs and setlists no longer add 'copy' to the name.
